Kit Requirements:
Please bring with you kit appropriate for a multitude of outdoor activities. The activities we have planned will be utilising the whole venue including the lake, so remember a change of clothes. We will send more specific information to those attending on exactly what you need to bring closer to the date.

Camping:
Camping is available on-site for both nights, and we’ve pre-booked a bank of pitches. Campervans can also be accommodated.
Please note the pitches we have booked do not have an electrical hook up, we will however have one pitch with a hook up as a communal area for those who wish to charge phones etc.
Cost:
£15 a head – this includes camping (both nights), organised activities (Sat), Sat evening BBQ & Fireworks entry!
This money needs to be paid in advance of the weekend to book your place, on the booking form you can select a choice of how you make this payment.
We’re delighted to announce the details of our 2019 End of Season Social. This year we’ve gone big with a combined North and South event hosted over one weekend.
We hope you’ll be able to join us. You are welcome to attend as much or as little of the weekend as you wish.

Weekend Overview:
Friday 18th October – Arrival & social/catch up
You are welcome to arrive from 4pm and pitch up – bring a chair and some beers, we will have a larger gazebo on one of the pitches that will act as our communal area for the weekend. Plan your own dinner for this evening, there is a cafe & bar onsite where you will also be able to eat. There are no fixed plans for the evening; we will just catch up with people as and when they arrive.
Saturday 19th October – Team activities both AM & PM
We will start off by splitting you all into 3 teams – Team Martin, Team Nikki & Team Shoumo. The first part of the morning will rotate round 3 land based activities where you can win points for your team – bring your thinking head and creative flair.
Next up (after a short break) we’ll be competing in a boat building themed scavenger hunt (we will be using the lake for this so if you want to bring your kayak along this might be useful). Points will be awarded to teams over a range of categories.
After lunch we will reconvene and take part in a raft building session, so bring things you don’t mind getting wet in. Again – points mean prizes!!
Sat evening – Team BBQ and Fireworks Spectacular
After a day of fun activities we will get together for a BBQ and the Fireworks display to round off the day. We’ll be providing the BBQ, but as always, extra helping hands are welcome!
After the BBQ we’ll head over to enjoy the fireworks spectacular on-site.
Sunday 20th October – Post breakfast morning social activity
After the crowning of the winning team, the morning will just be a social affair – with a few informal activities being organised (paddle or stroll around the lake/local area) packing down tents and heading off around lunchtime.
You’ll be working in teams throughout the activities and you’ll earn points for winning/completing activities – all points will be added up to see which team will walk away with the 2019 Swim Safety Social Trophy.
You are welcome to join us for as much or as little of the weekend as you wish, you can let us know which bits you will be attending via the booking form.
Specific details will be sent out to all those who sign up with exactly what you need to bring closer to the event.
