Safety Kayakers & Lifeguards

Outlaw Half is coming back to Holkham Hall on Sunday 3rd July

Holkham Hall is once again hosting the Outlaw Half triathlon in North Norfolk on Sunday 3rd July and we’re currently recruiting the last few safety kayakers & lifeguards to join our water safety team for the event, where around 1500 participants will be taking to the water for the 1.2 mile half iron distance swim.

What’s required?

We’re recruiting a team of 25 safety kayakers & lifeguards to support the races on the morning of Sunday 3rd July. The role is to supervise the participants as they complete the 1.2m open water swim in the lake at Holkham Hall.

This cover can be provided by either rescue board or kayak. We do ask that team members are of a suitable standard to carry out the role, ideally meeting the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Competent paddler – of at least 2 star standard for kayaks
  • Able to provide your own boat & kit (but speak to us if you can’t)
  • If you hold one of the qualifications listed here it would be an advantage
