Safety Kayakers & Paddlers

Outlaw Bowood is new this season at Bowood House on Sunday 12th September 2021

Outlaw Bowood is new this season at Bowood House on Sunday 12th September and we’re currently recruiting for safety kayakers/paddlers to join our water safety team for the event.

What’s required?

We’re recruiting a team of safety kayakers to support the race on the morning of Sunday 12th September. The role of the safety kayaker is to supervise the participants as they complete the 1.9km open water swim.

We do ask that kayakers are of a suitable standard to carry out the role, ideally meeting the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Competent paddler – of at least 2 star standard
  • Able to provide your own boat & kit
  • If you hold one of the qualifications listed here it would be an advantage
