What should I do when I first arrive at the event?

Please make your way to the designated meeting/briefing point – this will be detailed in the final email sent to you. Here you will find a member of our team who will register you, and let you know what to do/where you need to be next.

Please ensure you arrive promptly to mitigate delays. If you think you’re going to struggle to arrive on-time or are running late, please let the water safety manager know as soon as possible.

Every event is unique and our pre-event proceedures/activites will vary accordigly, however you will generally experience the following at all of our events: 

• Registration on arrival
• Full team briefing
• Kit distribution
• Individual team briefings where appropriate
• Pre-event evac drills
• Team photo
• Radio checks
