We offer a range of bespoke training and consultancy services to meet your needs

Over the year’s we’ve worked with a range of clients from outdoor education centres, local authorities, governing bodies, digital/marketing/PR agencies and commercial operators providing them with expert water safety advice.

We also offer a small range of training services, often providing bespoke or tailored training and courses to operators and organisations.

Consultancy

Though we do often work with event promoters to carry out feasibility studies of event venues, looking in particular at the suitability for open water swimming, our water safety consultancy services are not just aimed at the events industry,

We have many years of experience and knowledge so are able to provide advice and guidance to assist you with your activities when in and around the water. Whether it’s carrying out safety audits and risk assessments, advising on safe systems of work or up-skilling your existing team with additional training, we can offer expert, professional support.

We’ve also been known to provide consultancy for PR stunts, adverts and music videos – both in terms of securing water access permissions and the production of risk assessments. Our documentation is not only professional but bespoke to you and your project. This means it can be branded and shared with external parties, clients, stakeholders with confidence.

We asked Swim Safety to come in and advise us when we were looking to open up our facilities for open water swimming on a regular basis. The advice and insight provided was highly professional and certainly made the process of getting the sessions up and running safely immeasurably easier. We just felt in good hands!

Bespoke Training

Often there’s a gap left between qualifications – and we’re able to provide additional bespoke training to fill that void.

Our team are able to deliver a range of training courses; whether that’s to up-skill your existing team with new skills or provide courses for new candidates. In recent years we’ve worked with a number of water sports centres that have opened up their venues for open water swimming. Swim Safety has provided the training for centre staff to enable them to supervise these activities safely and work to industry best practices.

We also tailor bespoke training packages to meet your needs – we don’t believe in a one size fits all approach and so work with you to establish exactly what your requirements are and then identify a way to fill the skills gap.

We engaged Swim Safety to assist us with the risk assessment and safety management of two man-made lakes we have on our site to ensure we were meeting our legal obligations as the landowner.
